Healing the world of the terrorist act and horrible actions of recent memory can only happen if we focus on love and peace while we work hard to change how we live and treat each other. Take your anger and turn it into positive action. Make your mind up to rise above the common denominator and demand more from your community, representatives and government.

Fear exaggerates

Fear exaggerates even the smallest of things. It will magnify your insecurities, amplifies the negative self-talk and creates so much emotional static you will  think whatever problem or obstacle in front of you is huge. You will be consumed with getting through the situation that you might not see that you can simply go around it and continue on your path.

Is it dark?

The darkness can be a time to go inside rest and renew your spirit and your resolve. What do you do with darkness? Stop and disconnect, Turn off the social media, make a plan to replenish your soul with good food, reading and nature.

Sometimes the darkness comes from an unhealthy place either externally or internally in the way of actions, words, and thoughts. This is when the darkness is unhealthy  and counterproductive.

So what do you do with this type of darkness? You first stop what you are doing notice the darkness and say “Stop, end of this story,” then you replace the negative with four positive statements or truths about the false condition. You don’t have to dispell the darkness you just have to change it’s energy to a positive vibration.

Fight or Flight or Maybe Just DEAL

If you are always operating from the mode of Fight or Flight when you are triggered then it is time to take control. Set your intention to pay attention to the trigger when it starts before your body reacts. Now that you are aware of the trigger started choose to step back and examine the trigger and learn to Heal or Deal with it calmly and normally. This can be accomplished easy or hard it depends on what you believe it will take.
