Step Back

Step back into yourself and the world is simple but if you constantly look ahead, back or to others you are lost. Meditate!

You are not defined

Cut yourself some slack

We are experiencing a journey as a glorious human being who is subject to imperfection, we stumble on many levels and many times but we are not a slave to this condition if we are aware of it and cut ourselves some slack.

Know that things will happen that do not bring out the best in you either by your own hand or someone else’s hand. Also, know this does not define you.

We are always doing our best, whatever that happens to be at the time with the information and accumulated knowledge we have.

Be kind to yourself, don’t beat yourself up over the human condition, just love the fact you are experiencing.

Sincerly

one-world-one-race-handsThe moment you forget that everyone is are human you lose the chance to connect, learn and/or inspire each other.

Everyone wants or expects their Guru, parents, Minister, leaders, and healers to be above the human condition, this is not possible, it is the fact they are part of the human condition that allows the connection with empathy.

Don’t be in awe of me, let us be in awe of each other instead. ~Francisco E. Alvarez, Curandero~

Is your cup to empty?

cup_full_of_empty“Come with your cup empty” has come to mean that you should be of an open mind, willing and ready to learn new things.

You can never come with a cup that is empty to anything but you can empty all the things that will stop you from learning. Your cup will have expectations, hope, excitement, and wishes for any class you join.

What you must empty from your cup is judgment, ego, skepticism, and the need to be the teacher rather than the student.

Bring your cup 4/5 empty of the roadblocks to learning and 1/5 filled with the positive attributes of a student.
