Where are you looking?

Where are you looking for Self-love, self-respect, and self-worth? Is it to the person you desire or love? Your children? You parents? Your friends? Church or social group? Your Job? Your Title? Your money? Your degree?

These are all the wrong places to look for “SELF” anything. You must look to your SELF that is the only place it will ever be found.

Being honest

Being honest may not get you a lot of friends but it’ll always get you the right ones. – John Lennon

Your silence to your needs, desires or boundaries creates room for people to exploit you or to hurt you. Only you can voice what you will or will not accept in your life.

The Path

Sometimes the right path  isn’t the easiest. Other times it is, it all depends on how you prepare. Scout the direction you want to go, plan the route and only take or learn what is necessary for that part of the journey. Never bring along things that are not needed for the journey. Don’t bring people that will hinder your progress or are not pulling their own weight. Show them your destination and invite them to meet you there it’s your best practice.

Change

When you choose to change something you are tested greatly by it. Go inside turn to yourself and cling to your faith, nothing external can help.

How to succeed

”To leave the world a bit better; to know that one life has breathed easier because of you; that is to have succeeded” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Rage against the dying of the light of Freedom

Dylan Thomas, 19141953

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
