Know your enemy

What to know your enemy? Just be who you are, show your true self blatantly and unapologetic to the world around you and your enemy will be exposed by their own fear and jealousy. Fear not because your true friends will gather around you creating a sacred safe space. Always remember to be careful who you let whisper in your ear or pat you on the back, not all have your higher good in mind.

Friendship Closet

When people clean out their friendship closet they always make a point of stating that it’s to get rid of people that are not good in their life or who do not keep in touch. Of course, you are also removing yourself from their life for those same reasons. The things that you see lacking in their friendship is same things you lack in return, so don’t take the high road just take the road and know it is for growth.

Calmness has power

Calmness holds power, in the stillness of just being you can see all potential and pitfalls and act accordingly with divine timing. Be calm in the face of the storm until you realize you are the storm.

Knowledge isn’t wisdom

knowledge-vs-wisdomKnowledge is not wisdom, just as a pile of bricks is not a house. Gathering lots of knowledge and insight from many sources is a useful tool in life. Learning to apply this knowledge is learning how to use the tool of knowledge. Now living the knowledge is where wisdom comes from and nothing in a book, lecture or class can grow wisdom like experience. Experience gives you a base from which you can relate to others in your life and impart your knowledge with the wisdom of living.

Lighthouse

lighthouses

A lighthouse does not run around looking for ships, it just stays in one spot and shines.
Shine brightly from all the windows of your soul that you thought were cracks. What you have endured and survived is always on display as shadows but when you let the light of your soul shine those shadows disappear and give way to the light of hope.

When we get caught by this web of negativity, it is extremely difficult to remember that we have a choice. We can choose to break free from this cycle by realizing that each thought has an energetic value. Negative thoughts chain us to past memories only to weaken us.

2. Understand why we hold on
Dwelling on the past can actually feel good to us. Hating someone because they wronged us can feel very satisfying, because we feel like we are getting back at them through hatred. In reality, we are the one’s adding to our own suffering. We hold on to the past because we find comfort in what…
